He does not want to go through a full install to upgrade to 11.1.1.6.8 using the patch application. There is a developer who does not have OBIEE full install on his machine and only has the OBIEE 11.1.1.6 client installed.
Is there a way to just upgrade the client tools (Administrator specifically), from 11.1.1.6 to 11.1.1.6.8? This is taking into account that only the OBIEE 11g client has been installed on the machine. I have always run a full patch upgrade hence have never though of this. OBIEE 11.1.1.6.x Client Update I apologize if this question has already been asked before.
